How it works

Stripe knows what you actually billed and actually collected. HubSpot is where your team decides what to do about it. Between those two systems, records drift: a subscription cancels in Stripe and stays active in the CRM, a refund is issued and the invoice still reads "paid", a closed-won deal was never actually billed in Stripe.
