Install Trueness
Trueness reads your Stripe™ customers, subscriptions, invoices, payments and refunds, compares them with your HubSpot CRM, and shows where the two disagree, with the amount of each difference in its own currency, never converted. The Drift Report is free, needs no card and no implementation call.
What happens when you click
You approve twice in Stripe, with one HubSpot step in between. It takes a few minutes.
- Approve Trueness in Stripe. Stripe shows the permissions Trueness asks for and why. Every one of them is read-only: Trueness never moves money and never sees a card number.
- Install Trueness's HubSpot app. Stripe sends you to Trueness, and Trueness sends you to HubSpot. Sign in, choose the HubSpot account to compare with, and click Connect app. Trueness writes nothing to your HubSpot records: it creates no records and changes no property values.
- Approve Stripe once more. This second approval ties your Stripe account to the HubSpot account you just chose.
- Your report is prepared, usually within minutes. It appears on the page you land on, and inside HubSpot on the Trueness app page.
Trueness then re-reads both systems every 24 hours and refreshes the report.
What the report shows
The report leads with Uncovered revenue (Stripe subscriptions with no matching HubSpot record) and Silent churn (customers HubSpot still shows as active after Stripe stopped billing them). It also lists closed-won HubSpot deals with no matching Stripe subscription, and past-due or unpaid subscriptions HubSpot cannot see. Every figure comes from Stripe's or HubSpot's own records, never estimated.
